Serbischer Patriarch Pavle verstorben

Serbischer Patriarch Pavle ist am Sonntag, den 15. November 2009 um 10.45 in Belgrad gestorben. Anlässlich seines Todes wurde in Serbien dreitägige Staatstrauer verhängt. Patriarch Pavle war das 44. Oberhaupt der Serbisch-Orthodoxen Kirche und starb im Alter von 95. In der Botschaft der Republik Serbien in Bern, Seminarstrasse 5, steht das Kondolenzbuch offen: am Montag, den 16. November von 13.00 bis 16.00 Uhr, und am Dienstag und Mittwoch von 10.00 bis 16.00 Uhr.

Der Bundesrat hat am Mittwoch eine Botschaft zur Genehmigung eines bilateralen Polizeiabkommens ans Parlament überwiesen. The Economist lobbying for Kosovo

As part of the campaign for changing Kosovo image in the world, the Pristina authorities engaged the renowned London weekly paper The Economist, earmarking 200,000 euros for the publishing of several texts in 5,000 copies of this paper’s latest issue.

Kosovo goverment hired the Israeli branch of the Saatchi & Saatchi marketing agency to improve international image of Kosovo, for which they allocated 5,7 million euros.
